Roopal Garg is a homemaker, wife and mother, currently based in NJ, USA. Her childhood was spent traveling with her parents to different states of India and imbibing their culture, which she believes enriched her education and helped shape her as a person. Her love for stories started in early childhood, when her grandma introduced her to a charming rustic cowherd boy with a vision, who went from stealing butter to toppling a despotic king to masterminding the most epic battle ever fought and guiding mankind. This love affair continued and she grew to be a voracious reader- sampling all genres and retaining her love for the stories of ancient India. Her love for writing also started in childhood, from silly rhymes to angsty stories, to writing screenplays for school drama. This story is her first published work, though she writes on Quora. She loves reading the Itihasas and stories based on them, and likes to analyze and discuss the human angle as well as the politics involved in them. When not reading or writing, she loves listening to music, cooking, and daydreaming about traveling to different times- or even into space. Her partner in life shares her love for actual travel, adding to her education. She also likes introducing her young son to the rich cultural heritage of India, and holding long, deep and enlightening discussions with her teenage daughter about events from Mahabharata, Ramayana, and anything else under the sun.

Abhyuday was number 1 rank holder in the national level and international level merit in spell bee international for 2 consecutive years.
